This workshop will take place as part of B.Fest at Brighton Youth Centre on Tuesday 28 October 2025, 3 to 5pm.

Learn to make your own DIY 'zine' publication featuring text, creative writing, collage and doodles to take home. Inspiration and creative prompts will be shared by guest artist Azaria Franco and Young Writers Collective's mentor team. 

Come along to get creative and make a zine to take away. You can also contribute your zine to be part of our next anthology too, on the theme of "Time/Time Travel"! Limited spaces, free but booking required. 

About the guest artist: Azaria Franco (he/him) is an artist and workshop facilitator in Brighton, working to create safe and non-judgmental spaces for people to explore art and connect with others. Az has run zine making workshops in Brighton for over a year and loves bringing people together, exploring ideas and creating art with likeminded people. 

This workshop is open to anyone aged 13 to 19. You don't have to be a member of Young Writers Collective to join in this workshop.
